You’ve decided I am the photographer for you! Yay! I am so very excited and honored to be working with you on this special day!
Here is a brief overview of how to book my services and what to expect from your wedding photography experience.
In order to get the booking process started, I need the following information from you:
Bride’s Full Name, Email & Phone
Groom’s Full Name, Email & Phone
Address – This needs to be your current shipping address for the main contact. You can always update this later on.
Which collection you have decided on
With this information I will create a contract and an invoice, of which 25% will be due as a retainer to hold your wedding date. Both my contracts and payments are completed virtually making it a super simple process. How this works is that you both will receive an email with a link and password to view the contract, initial where applicable, and sign. You BOTH must sign the contract from your individual emails – i.e.: the bride can not sign for the groom through the link in her own email. The bride must sign through the link sent in her email, the groom through the link sent to his email. After both parties have signed the contract, you will be able to access the payment page (through the same link) and pay the retainer.
Done and done – your photographer is now booked!
Now the fun can begin! Here is a tentative outline regarding your photography experience and what to expect from me.
*After the contract is signed and retainer paid, you will receive an email with a link to an online portal where you can access your contract, pay on your invoice, and answer some important questionnaires. My couples LOVE this feature. It really makes the process so simple and streamlines communication.
*A few weeks after the contract is signed, you will receive a welcome packet in the mail with some goodies and valuable wedding-related information.
*If you are having an engagement session, make sure you schedule it at least 2-3 months in advance of the wedding.
*Final payment is due 1 month before the wedding. You will receive an automated email from me reminding you of this and to make sure your questionnaires are filled out.
*Plan on touching base, either via phone or email 2-3 weeks before your wedding so we can finalize details and go over any issues I see in your questionnaires. If you have a wedding planner, I’ll also be contacting them around this time to see if they have a timeline ready.
*Let the wedding festivities commence. I’ll be there shooting my heart out (while capturing yours). Expect complete professionalism, creativity, and a quiet approach to your wedding day. You’ll forget I am even there by the end of the night!
*3-4 weeks after your wedding you can expect your online gallery to be ready for viewing, an email reminding you of what products are included in your package and how you can expect to receive/redeem these items. At this time, you will also receive a link through which you can view and make changes to your album.
*4-5 weeks after your wedding you can expect to receive your USB and heirloom memory box (if included in your package).
*Expect to receive your album 1-3 months after we finalize your album changes. Delivery time depends completely on the album you ordered.
*Delivery of other products depends solely on when they are ordered. Remember you have three months to redeem print credits, order products, and finalize album changes.
